Roof Replacement
Step 1
In most cases we go to the clients office and firstly notify that there will be works commencing. We ask for their ideal time preference, what we need to know about procedures, access points for fire exits stratergy and also exchange information to ensure that if there is a problem we can communicate with one another
Step 2
We go threw all of the measurements to ensure exact material is ordered. This is done by our material manager. We then place the order for the material to be delivered onto site. We will then provide a time and date for the delivery to the manager of the premises. Then we order a crane if required.
Step 3
This is the important time of checking out the site and placing safety signs around the areas that are concerning for the safety of people on ground. We then place scaffold around the building and ensure that all areas are safe for people to work. This is done by our Safety management team and foreman. Our Final Inspector will take photos of all of the works before comencing. We start our OH&S with everyone on the jobsite.
Step 4
Once a date has been scheduled with the Manager, we provide emails to every personel or pamphletes a week before deliver is scheduled. This allows everyone to be notified. In a week, we provide safety management around the premises and crane. The material and crane will be scheduled on the day to arrive together. We place all the material onto the roof at one time. Also, we place all of our tools, tool boxes and bending machine on the roof top.
Step 5
We then place another notification for all personel to notify of the works that will be taking place. This notification will show the drawing of the premises and also a exit area for all workers and vistors to understand the area. We proceed with a meeting to all workers notifying the procedures and to have a oh&s meeting. We have this done every day and worker will sign all paper notifying there saftey procedures.
Step 6
All works will now take place and formen will take charge of all duties. This will go on for the period that has been agreed.
Once all works have been completed, we then order in a crane and also our truck to remove all of the existing material and our tools and boxes. We remove of any rubbish from the property to the waste center.
Step 7
Our Final Inspection Manager will be taken on to the site with the foreman. This will be an assesment of the works done. Our Final Inspector Manager will take notes, also take pictures before and after shots. Then we will get our staff to print out a final report and also include the warranty for all works. This will be handed to the owner or strata. All of the scaffold will be removed and safety barriers at this point. Then we sign off with the complete report, warranty and oh&s records. This will need to be done after all paper work has been received.
Step 8
We provide a 3 year visit to inspect the roof and also clean the roof 2 times a year. This will provide us information to notify you of the amount of works that need to be done on the roof.
